(and where to find them on the interwebs)
Count me surprised and touched: when I wore the prototype of our new inversecondemnation.com fleecy swag vest at the recently-completed -- and very icy -- ALI-CLE Eminent Domain & Land Valuation Litigation Conference in Austin (see below), quite a few of the folks in attendance asked me where they might obtain one for themselves.
When this is what greets you when you arrive at the

Because it is logo wear, the vest is one of those things that I'd prefer to give away. After all, isn't the whole point of logo swag to promote the thing so logo'd? To spread the word, or show your affiliation, or promote the brand, or something? To make people pay for the privilege of promoting the blog just doesn't seem quite right. Thus, I brought the other size prototypes along with me, and handed them out to a few of those in attendance, such as the law students who took the time (and expense) to make their way to Austin to attend.
But these days, I am a humble public interest lawyer, not a high-powered BigLaw attorney with an expense account (not that I ever was the latter, but play along here). Thus, I can't give these things away, in quantity. But I also want anyone who really wants one to obtain one.
So I am taking orders and will send you one at actual cost (including shipping to you via US Postal service). No margin, no profit, no "overweight baggage charge," no "resort fee." Just the total cost of the order, plus mailing. If I can't give you one as a gift, at least I won't skim any cream off the top and can get it to you at cost-only, as my way of saying thanks for the support and the promotion. Here's the brand and model number and sizing information (Landway 9805 Heavyweight Fleece Vest) and like the Model T comes in any color you like as long as it's black. (Do not order from this site and please ignore the prices, the link is only for information and the final cost will differ; see ordering information below.)
Based on the prototype production, I'm anticipating a cost range of $35 per vest, plus the cost of whatever USPS charges for me to send it to you.
This is a slightly thicker fleece than what you might often see for logo wear, and we can attest from experience that it is comfortable both in colder climes when layered, and also in more temperate zones like California and the Southeast when worn over a t-shirt or lighter blouse. In other words, good nationwide (and yes, I've even worn this model in Hawaii on cooler nights or when the office A/C is set to "blast").

How to order? Easy: send me an email. Include in the email:

2. Mailing Address (U.S. Postal)

4. Quantity if more than 1 (if no note, I shall presume 1)
5. AND [IMPORTANT] - YOUR SIZE
Note: orders will close on Friday, February 17, 2023, so I can get the items made and shipped while it is still winter (production time is a week or two, plus shipping).
That will be what I need to place the order. When it arrives, I will contact you with how to get payment to me. And when that arrives, I will ship it out to you.
Then we can all coordinate when to wear em at the next gathering, like Brigham-Kanner, or ALI-CLE. Or something!
